It is full of well-documented research, fascinating facts, and helpful advice, all of which is presented in a way that is fun to read and easy to understand.
Although the book was published in 1985, it was way ahead of its time. Over the years, most of the theories put forward in McDougall's Medicine have been vindicated many times over as researchers better understand the relationship between diet and disease.
While the authors of BEST SUPPLEMENT GUIDE do not agree with all of the conclusions in McDougall's Medicine, based on our reviews of more current research, reading this book helped me go from walking with a cane to getting paid to play racquetball as the Racquetball Coordinator for the local fitness club.
